Ego, Emotion & Decision: Inter links

Ego is one’s state of mindset that is the mix of three issues like self identity, confidence & comparison with the surrounding peoples. Self identity leads a man to think differently where confidence makes him rigid (usually) to his/her decisions. But comparison has different effect like because one may judge himself better than others or reverse. In case of first option, people try to do differently without any logic just to prove himself empowered.

Where emotion refers to some-ones weakness/soft toward some situation or beliefs that leads to form a shape or change the behavioral pattern of this specific situation or related to. These two are one’s individual attribute that varies person to person so sharply that may not even match with one’s with anyone else.

On the other hand, decision may be described as choosing one from available multiple options. Each and every day, everyone consciously or sub-consciously used to make decisions in different form. Best decision may very from difference in viewpoints, objective both short & long term and so on.

Thus when we come to decide something, our emotions always influence impliedly sometimes directly. And ego usually influence on the team work & in a competitive environment. Which may called as biased. My opinion is that decisions should be perfect only when we are free from these effects though I don’t believe it’s possible. But I expect the least effect.
